I have been interested in photography for a number of years and have been an avid Nikon follower since the mid 90’s.
However lately I have become disillusioned with Nikon and the lack of attention they seem to be paying to the DX market. As I have been waiting for a replacement for the D300 camera for a number of years now.
However during this wait I have found that more and more I have been leaving the heavy DSLR and Kit at home and traveling with just a point and shoot.
Originally the Nikon P7000 and more recently with the Fuji X20 I find that this combined with my iPad makes a nice light travel kit.
By reducing my travel kit from a large max carry-on sized bag to two pocket-able devices I can now use my carry-on allowance for clothing and skip the checked bag.
