Nikon D300 Update

Weather has not been in favor of going out taking more shots with the new camera so I worked on figuring out the commander mode on the D300 with my SB600 flash. Spent a lot of time trying to get an acceptable result, spent quite a few evenings going over all the user forums and scouring the web for information and trouble shooting tips on getting the system to work wireless
Finally when I was getting prepared to bring the camera and flash into my local camera store I realized my bonehead move. The camera was set to rear curtain slow sync. This caused all my test shots to look under exposed as i was testing in a very dark room. I could get it working if I dialed in a +1.7 compensation on the flash unit.
Now that I figured this out I am looking for a cheap light stand to get the flash head higher.
